As we are heading towards the end of February the inevitable is coming and is happening this week. All my Polish customers will already know that this Thursday we will be celebrating Fat Thursday (it is the equivalent of Shrove Tuesday but instead of pancakes we eat doughnuts, A LOT of doughnuts). I didn't manage last year but I would like to celebrate this day by providing all of you with those little, sweet, deep fried parcels of flavour. However, doughnuts are new to us and we have limited equipment to make a lot, so won't be taking any pre-orders. They will be available throughout the week from (roughly) 10.30 am (to be confirmed). We will also have our usual cinnamon buns, amazing cheesecake buns and a slightly limited selection of croissants. Due to its popularity I have decided to keep the Everything Bagel Sourdough for one more week.

Also, some of you may have already met a new addition to our team. I would like to officially welcome Charlie, hopefully a young baker to be. He is very keen to learn so we all have our hopes high! Say hi when you see him in the bakery next time. With this growing team we will be able to gradually increase our offer even more, perhaps offer small wholesale, look into opening a tiny shop and have some extra time to sleep and rest (that's for myself, very much needed). I can't tell you often enough, how lucky I've been with finding the perfect people every single time. I believe that if the passion is there, everything else will come naturally.

You can also pre-order a whole babka (chocolate, cinnamon or halva) £14 each.

If you would like to order your bread and pick it up from Potstop on Thursday, please let us know by 2 pm on Wednesday (email to The orders will then be ready for collection between 2 - 5 pm.

If you would like your order to be delivered by Box Bike, let us know a day before at least and we will arrange the delivery for you, thank you!
