News from the bakery.

Hello bread and pastry lovers! I hope you are all well. I am coming here today to touch base with you all, let you know if there is anything new happening and thank you for your wonderful support.

Summer is fast approaching so we are trying to make the most of everything that's in season at the moment. A few of our new additions are elderflower and strawberry danishes available over the weekend, rhubarb and pistachio cream maritozzi and Gemma's delicious asparagus and walnut quiche. We have also introduced a peanut butter, chocolate and caramel bun, that is soft and delicious but also on the heavier side, so we might give it another week and then bring it back in Autumn.

From another news, we are looking for a bakery manager. It is my personal quest to find a person who has a bakery related knowledge and can take over the lead keeping Leavened at the same (or even better!) level as now. If this is you, or you know someone who could be interested, please follow this link to find out more.

Also, I have a great pleasure to invite you to a supper club we are organising with our friend, chef David Batala. David is mega taleted, trained in some of the best Michelin star restaurants but to me what strikes me the most is the care and creativity that is just pouring out of his dishes. What's more David is Czech so his cuisine is super close to mine, we both thought it would be a great opportunity to present you food that connects our origins but also the country we chose to live in, as well as the season. If you would like to join us for the meal, please head to the website to book.

That's it from me for now, I can quietly repport that the queues aren't that long any more (sometimes they are!) so our days feel a little bit calmer and more managable, which is great! Thank you for constatntly supporting us, no matter the weather. See you soon! Iza
