Hello everyone!

With new energy I managed to gain whilst laying in bed over the most of the last week, I would love to welcome you in the brand new week. I would like to thank you all for so many warm words and wishes. Thankfully the cold is now gone and we are all ready to work hard.

I would also like to welcome Laura into our team, some of you might have met her on Saturday. Laura is a new addition to Leavened and she is a very brave woman who decided to totally change her career path and become a baker (however she is already a very keen and good home baker, with the right amount of passion for gluten!).

I am also thrilled to let you know that I have stocked up on apples heavily so please expect some tasty, sweet, fragrant bakes with my favourite fruit ever (maybe a second favourite now as the first one has to be a black tomato grown my our very capable Oli).

Without any further ado, here is the menu for the next week:

Just Bread

(aka Classic Sourdough) £3.70

Chorizo, roasted peppers

and smoked paprika sour £4.80

Seeded sourdough £4.50

Dark rye sourdough (450g) £3.50

Light Rye Sour £4

Spelt with Seeds (tin loaf) £5

Cinnamon Bun £2

Pumpkin spiced bun £2.80

Herb and garlic bun £1

We will also have some sweet bakes featuring chocolate, peanut butter, oats and ginger (not all in one cake!).

Pain au chocolats will be joining the menu from Thursday. Baguettes will be baked on Friday and Saturday. And as for the apples, I am planning to serve you hand pies with home made puff pastry so stay tuned!
